Description
Nightingale Home Healthcare is currently searching for a CNA/Home Health Aide Educator. Job requirements include but are not limited to:
* Assist Human Resources with on-boarding HHA’s, C.N.A’s and Attendants
* Participate in new hire formal orientation process. Including but not limited to HIPPA Testing, Mandatory In-service, patient policies and procedures.
* Coordinate and administer 90 days field orientation. Responsible for grading progress of new aides and reporting findings to Scheduling, HR and Logging. This to include home visits and evaluations on technique such as personal care, Hoyer lift capabilities and visit documentation
* Oversee skills check-off for new employees by state and company regulations
* Responsible for any remedial field training and final sign off for new hires after 90 day orientation.
* Responsible for monthly in-services and case conferences.
* Maintain field bonus program.
* Assist with any counsels as needed by scheduling and Human Resources.
* Maintain confidentiality of patients and HCA situations, records and services provided.
* Provide CPR training and certification to new hires and well as exisiting employees
* Must be or be willing to become a C.N.A. licensed instructor

Requirements
* ASN or RN registered in the state of Indiana
* Valid Driver’s License
* 2-3 years home healthcare experience a must
* 1-2 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred
* Previous CNA work preferred
* CPR Instructor
* C.N.A. Instructor preferred but must be willing to take the necessary steps in the future to become certified
